Alex is going to his grandparent's house for a week so photos will resume in October.

Solid Foods Part II

Alex anxiously awaiting his second try at solids.He didn't like the taste at first because we made the cereal a bit thicker.He got used to it and ate a whole serving of cereal.

However, a lot of cereal still ends up on his face so he requires a bath afterwards.

Alex has been extra smiley lately and is laughing quite a bit.

Meal time

We got Alex a highchair and tried feeding him some rice cereal this morning. He was very excited to see the spoon and opened his mouth readily. However, he preferred chewing on the spoon to eating the cereal on it and most of the cereal ended up coming out of his mouth and onto his face. Then he lost interest altogether and began chewing on the tray. Maybe he's not quite ready for the world of solid foods.

Playtime

Alex loves to pull at the toys on his playgym, espectially the purple elephant. He will often wrestle them free.

Sunny Afternoon

4 months old!

Alex got his second set of shots at the doctor. He now weighs almost 14 and 1/2 pounds.
